Homemade Sterling Silver Jewelry Cleaner

Chemical cleaners will harm pearls, turquoise, abalone and other similar gemstones.  This cleaner can be used on gold or silver jewelry and will not harm any gemstones!

Ingredients:

Glass bowl ~ medium size

Aluminum foil ~ shiny side up

Hot tap water ~ fill the bowl half way

1 T baking soda

1 T salt

Drop of dish soap

Line the bowl with aluminum foil shiny side up and fill halfway with hot tap water.  Mix in the other ingredients and stir until dissolved.  Place your jewelry in the solution for up to 5 minutes.  Take out and rinse with tap water.  Dry and buff with a silver cleaning cloth or towel.
